Aim & Scope

The main focus of the Bulletin of the Mineral Research and Exploration will be high-impact original research and reviews in all fields of earth sciences. BMRE is an international, open-access, peer-reviewed, state-supported, Turkey's oldest and most well-established earth sciences journal.

BMRE presents original scientific contributions that define and clarify the development, structure, and deformation of Earth’s lithosphere. Bulletin of the Mineral Research and Exploration not only publishes original papers on mining geology as seen in its title, but also on general geology, structural geology, tectonics, sedimentology, stratigraphy, paleontology, geochemistry, geostatistics, earthquake studies, geoheritage, geoarchaeology, environmental geology, remote sensing, engineering geology, hydrogeology, geotechnics, geothermal energy, petroleum geology, mining and petroleum technologies, and any relevant area of researches. Multidisciplinary studies are particularly encouraged.
